A Tragic End

A hero destined for great things
He was believed he would become king
Three witches made that Fantasy seem real
All the lies and betrayals played out
There was not a single doubt
That his fate would of ended the way it did
The tragic tale of how a glorious hero
Could be so corrupt, so far into his inner-sanctum.
The hero Macbeth; this is his tale

The great hero, who started out as a mere soldier
Became an icon for many, an enemy for others
He soon became an idol
A role-model for the citizens of the kingdom.
He rose the ranks of a simple soldier
to the greatest General that Scotland had ever seen
His bravery was so immense
He displayed such valor
Strength was one of his greatest attributes
Such qualities made him more then ready
It made it more then capable of being the one title that everybody wanted to be
Macbeth became the Thane Of Cawdor

The adventures he had
They were spoken in legends, myths maybe

`His ego was one to speak about
His self-righteous ego
It evidently drove him into insanity
And that alone would send him on a path
A path full of nothing, but corruption

A once glorious warrior
A previously admired hero
Lied to by the liars
Persuaded by the convincers
A series of prophecies that had to be fulfilled
Each greater then the last
But all leading to one unavoidable cause
The death of Macbeth

Time grew near, his fate almost to its end
The once thane of Cawdor now awaited for his end to come
His lies, and betrayals finally caught up to him
An unseeingly fate that could come to an end
At any minute
His eyes could fortell what was going to occur
One warrior
One very determined man
His life was hell, cause of macbeth
Every moment that passed,
this man was in a living nightmare
Every time he thought of his family
The tragic tales of how Macbeth murdered them
It became his own

The time is ending
His fate coming to a close
Macbeth counts the moments until his life comes to a sudden end
One man will make sure that happens
A man who has his revenge in mind
A perfect plan
To kill the one that took everything from him
Every minute that passes
He gets his plan set
More and more

Oh at last They both meet
Face to face Man to man
Both of them facing each other
On opposite sides
Macbeth and Macduff
They face off in a daring collison
With swords in hand
Ready to finish what should have been ended
A long time ago
Now it is the time
They settle a long grudge

Swing, swing swing
The air ripped by the screeching sounds of blades
Hitting against each other
Over and over again
They come to an even match
Neither of them letting up
They both have a killing mind
But then a mircle occurs
Macbeth suddenly stops

The fight is put to an end
His end is nearing
The time bomb starts its final moments

Tick tock
Tick tock
Tick tock

The ticking of Macbeth’s final moments
They near
As the man
Refusing to run away

Macduff
Completely confused
And yet
He isn’t
The words spoken
From Macbeth’s mouth
Is soothing
No, more like comforting
It is now time for the betrayer to meet his final moments

Macduff grips his sword tightly
His fingers squeezing the hilt tightly
Anger takes over
His conscious is no longer there
Only the thought of revenge is in mind
One moment until it comes

Stab stab stab
The blade impales Macbeth’s heart
A crimson liquid flows out to the cold, hard ground
The sounds of gushing organs began to sound off
His body falls hard to the ground
In the puddle of crimson
One final moment
The final seconds of his life
A fitting end to a once glorious hero

Macbeth
He lies on the floor
Motionless
Forever alone, and never to rise again

Surprised

Wait I thought Macbeth was a king (unless this is a different version of it, then it would be)?

Anyway, I thought that was brilliant, although I got so used to reading poems that rhyme that it fel ever so weird to read one that doesn't need rhyming. Brilliant job there Grimmjow ;D.

Well i wrote this based upon the actual play that William Shakespere wrote. So in fact, Macbeth wasnt king from start, but instead he was driven into insanity from the three witches and they made him abbandon his former self and become a shallow shell of a man, and about his selfish desires. Which at first, wasn't a bad turn on his part. However, as he went deeper into his own darkness, Macbeth soon became clouded by his own visions, or ambitions that he had, and evidently he came to death..

Well something like th
at anyway Razz

It goes about that he becomes the thane of cawdore, and after meeting the witches and hearing their prophecies, he thinks it insane, but then they begin to take hold of him, especially after telling his wife who becomes power crazy almost instantly, and drives him to kill the king when the king sleeps in his keep (after a celebration on his becoming thane). He wipes the blood on the king's guards after killing them (cant remember if he kills them or if they are sleeping. they turn out dead either way Razz). in the morning it is found, and the guards are put as the cause and eventually he becomes king (kills a few others, and kills the entire family of his friend who is another thane. prince flees to england). Eventually the one who's family he killed (person A) and the prince (person B) return with an army from england and hide in the trees, each carrying part of a tree to mask their army's numbers. (The forest doth come to Dunstinane) He sees this and freaks out a bit, but was told that no man of woman born could kill him (by witches), so calms down. during the fight, person A duels him and, after a while, Macbeth tells of the "no man of woman born" thing, but person A replies that his mother died in labor (or smething like that), and so technically he wasnt born by his mother, after which he decapitates Macbeth and carries his head back to Person B and the general (the general's son was also killed by Macbeth, did i forget to say that?). Person B takes the throne, saying the "evil tyrant is dead" and that "all shall now be lords" and it ends.

there's my brief summary of Shakespeare's Tragedy of Macbeth
