Hey guys, as promised things are going to start happening this year!
But I can't and shouldn't have to do it alone.
This is your site too, and i need your help.

We recently had votes for the colourscheme however none of that was conclusive,
Unfortunately we couldn't have both so im left with the option of collaborating the strengths of the two.
Im hoping that you'll be pleased with it. The overall result is im using colours from various kh pictures, i.e Aqua's hair, Ven's Eye. those sorts of things so when it comes to designing the images things should sail smoothly.
I hope things wont be too bright for those that are blinded by light, and too dark that those of us can't read it either. But nicely in between.

Now if you'd like to help out with the images raise you hand and I'll stick you name on the list and ask you to help for things.
Please don't freak out if more than one person is designing buttons and so on, it'd be nice to choose which set we will use.

I hope to get the colour scheme finished momentarily, I hope you will all like it.

I could probably do it, but it depends on my schedule.

I dunno how to make buttons but I'll see what I can do about it.

The buttons aren't all that complex honestly.
All that's required is a small image that's got the right colours, with the words that are needed like "Forum, Calendar... and so on...
Now this can be done all together then seperated the different parts into seperate images, so they all fit together, or... you can make them all individually.. it's purely up to you.
Just need the colours, and preferably have some KH reference - but with buttons it's not entirely necessary.
then the images are sent to me and i'll stick em up.

Okies then, but you probably have to tell me the size.

If you want smaller then that's cool, I don't recomment any bigger than what it is now though. It's about the largest I'd want.
Also remember that "Calendar" and "Gallery" need to be added since the template i used doesn't have those.

I won't make you so the ones like "New topic" " Reply" and "Online" because I know the first bit is a huge task as it is, and the other two don't necessarily need to match.

Another job people can do is making sets for our galley for forum members to use, and Buttons of forum pride which will link back to lwd. Very Happy

Cool, soo i need to make a:

Forum, Calendar,Gallery,FAQ,Search,Members,Group,Profile,Message,Log out buttons.

That might be a bit too long for the page. Can you put like Members under search and message and profile under something that works like the Control Panel (but I would'nt call it 'CP') or will it be too complicted, if it is, I'll find a way of fitting them all in.

Oh also a "Log in" button but you can't see that here cause you're logged in.

And I can't without tweaking the html and at this stage im not sure how much access they give me, they may only let me add things and not take them away im not sure... Just make things smaller than they already are and less spaced out, I don't mind if they're longer than the banner, the banner is only a temp anyways.

Ah, thats okay then, there's always a way.

Colour wise for the buttons, try and used the colours that have already been used on the forums, the blues, whites and navy's
They're actually all shades from Cal's scans of CGI Aqua, and Ven's eye. In case you're wondering, but it might be just as easy to use a screen shot.
Don't hesitate to be creative with them either, if you want to add kh sybols of whatever be my guest. Very Happy

The other one is exatcly the same except that the font is century Gothic.

I'll PM you the separated parts (I have to seprate it since it's all in one long shape) if you two are happy with it (incld. the Log In button )

... O.O! That's EPIC! I love it! It's weird cause it's just how i imaged it! .....Have you been reading my mind again by any chance?

EDIT: Was blinded by epicness before.... Forgot to ask, are you able to make gifs? Like animations, cause the other button I forgot to mention (gosh im sorry about this) is that when someone get's a new message it needs to be noticeable. If you cant or don't know what to do that's fine i can try and work something out, but i just remembered that.
I was thinking sorta like it does now, but animated so it's more noticeable. You know with the added outline. Animated wise maybe a fade or even a flash, something that strikes the attention of people when they have a new message, but, it's entirely up to you.

Okay that's perfect! Gif's aren't hard all you have to do is put one layer on top of the other with the change and save it as a gif animation.

lol I know it's dull it's only temporary infact i was trying to make one early but illness took me, I guess i've been over doing it a bit...
LOL It's great... saix wasn't exactly what i had in mind though..
Funny thing is Callum likes the simple HQ Ven banner.
Anyways i was hoping on using some of the scans he took since he so kindly took them for us and KHi.

I dunno how you can be a fanboy or fangirl of a character that you know hardly anything about... O.o...

He idiotically ran out in front of his friend so he'd become frozen from head to toe

He hasn't said anything to me about doing it, so if you're volunteering that's great! I wasn't going to ask because you've already done a huge amount of work, and put up with my forgetfullness.

My guess is it's the CSS, which was probably made to suit the old buttons, So it's my job to fix that,
I'll have to do it in a non-peak time though otherwise it'll never load...
Arti - if its not too much trouble could ya tell me the dimensions on how they were as a complete bar?
Cause that way i can just put them in on how far the bav bar should be which is what's causing the disjointedness.
I need the height and the complete width if that's okay...

I dont mind doing the other buttons, just tell me what the buttons are.

The size it at least 782(w) x 44(l) pixels.
